Jose Palmero
Chief Executive Officer

Jose joined the Pascal Press Group of companies in 2006. During this time he has played a key role in growing and scaling the Pascal Press Group, which includes Pascal Press, Blake Education, Blake Publishing, Video Education Australia, ClickView, 3PL (until its IPO in 2014) and Blake. He was a member of the 3PL board from 2009 to 2014 prior to the IPO and has a proven track record in the educational content, intellectual property and EdTech industries. Prior to joining 3PL and Blake, Jose spent 10 years at the Copyright Agency Limited as Group General Manager – Business Development and Strategic Planning, Financial Controller.

Dimitri Aroney
Chief Financial Officer

Dimitri is a chartered Accountant with over 15 years’ experience working in ASX listed companies, multinational companies and audit.

Previously Dimitri was a Manager at EY and held senior finance roles at Sara Lee.

Dimitri joined 3P Learning in 2014 in a senior finance role to support the Group’s transition to a listed environment before being appointed to CFO in April 2020.

Katy Pike
Chief Product Officer

Katy is a co-founder of Blake eLearning and has been a key part of the Pascal Group of Companies since 1990. During these 30+ years, Katy has been the primary publisher of literacy and maths texts before moving onto digital products where she oversaw the development of Reading Eggs, Reading Eggspress, Reading Eggs Jr, Mathseeds and Fast Phonics. Katy has created programs that are highly engaging for students, easy to use for teachers and fit with 3PL’s strategic vision.

She is also the author of more than 120 book titles covering a wide range of literacy and numeracy topics.

Tania Black
Chief People Officer

Tania has extensive experience in leading people strategy, with focus on business transformation in the media sector.

She led the integration of HR across Nine Entertainment Co.

Tania joined 3P Learning in November 2015.

Vivek Prahlad
Chief Technology Officer, Group

Vivek joined Blake in 2020 and 3PL in May 2021. Prior to joining Blake, Vivek spent 20 years in a number of senior technical roles. He was previously the Head of Engineering at Kinesis and a Technical Principal at ThoughtWorks.

Vivek holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi.

Simon Martin
Chief Technology Officer

Simon has extensive technology experience gained over 20 years in multiple industries, including FinTech, Private Health Insurance, Data & Analytics and EdTech.

His specific expertise in M&A, IT Strategy & Architecture, Agile, and delivery of innovative software products.

Simon joined 3P Learning in February 2017.

Lynda Pendino
Chief Marketing Officer

Lynda joined Blake in 2012 and 3PL in May 2021. Lynda previously spent 12 years with the Pascal Press Group in a variety of marketing and sales roles, including Direct Marketing Manager – Schools Division and Marketing Manager – B2C and B2B. Lynda has 21 years’ marketing experience in educational publishing and eLearning.

Elizabeth Wang
Company Secretary & General Counsel

Liz joined 3PL in July 2020. Liz is an experienced company secretary and senior legal advisor and has held various similar positions in the listed space for over 10 years.

Liz has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Directors and the Governance Institute of Australia.

Chris Mathews
Chief Sales Officer

Chris has over 15 years of extensive cross-border experience in the US, UK and internationally, spanning multiple industries, including retail, consumer, edtech and media. He’s held senior roles for several companies where he’s led global investment, strategy, and international partnerships, including for Discovery Networks and Scholastic. He currently serves in numerous advisory roles for several US, EU and Chinese edtech start-ups.
